Finally done with the book, of which, after two years of waiting I had honestly thought my fervor for it had cooled down and wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. Oh how wrong I was.
But it was sad to see the ending, although it was sprinkled with happiness and hope. The main event was sad and gloomy. It was a hopeful sight to see so many people, from all sorts of places, to come over and show their respects. Nothing less would have suited.
Still feeling rather confused about Snape though, truthfully speaking. I think we are all about as confused him too. The book review in NY Times seemed to imply that Dumbledore's tendency of believing the best in people wasn't always right after all. But we still don't know why he trusted Snape so much, so we still can't lay that to rest can we?
Damn...and I really liked Alan Rickman in the movies. Oy.
The part about Tonks and Lupin, Fleur and Bill, and then Harry and Ginny...well something happy in the whole book. It is surprising about Fleur though...the way she acted throughout the book. Hmm.
